I always start with a photograph. Sometimes, I end there.

I’ve grown frustrated with photo websites and communities that

seem to be more about what equipment you own

than what you are trying to say.

I’ve decided to share my process, in the belief that the more you know about what motivates your

photography (as either a photographer or a patron), the more you will enjoy your photographs.

And your life.

Because, really, photography is about being present to the magic in life.

And so is this blog.
